Statue of Liberty

The 93 meter high Statue of Liberty was erected in New York Harbor on October 28, 1886 to mark the Centennial of the American Declaration of Independence. This steel wonder designed by French sculptor, Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi is the first thing that comes to one's mind as they visit New York.

The crowned lady Liberty has seven spikes, symbolizing the Seven Seas, holds a tablet with the Declaration of Independence in her left hand and in her right hand a torch, symbolizing Enlightenment.

Adirondack Park

The Adirondack Park is the largest National Historic Landmark Park in northeast New York. The park spreads in 24,700 km²; its boundary is popularly called the 'Blue Line' which embraces Adirondack Mountain range.
